IPL is no more `Indian Premier League`.It`s going to be `International Premier league` with IPL moving outside India.Yesterday(24th March 2009), IPL Commisioner Lalit Modi and CSA chief Gerard Majola held talks and it was decided that South Africa will host Season 2 of Indian Premier League.

This was really heart-breaking for an Indian cricket fan but on a whole current situation in India due to the elections and also the current situation in subcontinent has lead to this conclusion one feels for this thing happening. So Indian fan needs to understand this. Yes, Considering that `Cricket is a religion` in India, considering that Season 1 was a success, considering all the money, jobs, glitz and glamour associated with IPL, one cant help but think whether IPL will have the same impact outside India or not. But life needs to move on and we should be happy that IPL is atleast going on somewhere instead of getting cancelled.

So as said before South Africa will host IPL 2 but anyone who is wondering why England was not given the nod to host,it was simply because weather in UK was not favourable in April-May like in RSA where it is totally favourable. This was the main reason for it. Also it was decided that IPL will be started 1 week later this time than the initially scheduled date.

So fans are now just hoping that IPL 2 will be more success than its previous one.So we should just wait and watch how things pan out on April 18th.
