Bangladesh has its own culture for our everyday life. Our culture and heritage mostly are the basis of our six seasons, family tradition and the means of income for mass population. In most of the cases we are deviated from these values to be more modern.

Many people in our country have been struggling for food every day. On the other hand, so called up-to-date society has more eagerness to eat western food like McDonalds, Burgerking, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. These are really expensive in our country compared to the average income of the people. They do eat those food voluptuously in front of the poor people to show their prompt and grandeur. They do celebrate the "April fool" without knowing the history and drink on 31st to get the satisfaction that they are on the top of whole world. If culture means the feeling of peaceful life, then we are going downward at least. Peoples have more unrest mentality, less patience and no particular value of thinking. Index is the curve of criminal acts in everyday life.

In western country, people go for fast food like McDonald, Jack in the Box, Burgerking, KFC, Popeyes, Chuch Chicken, Subways, Taco bell and lot of other fast food restaurants. Reasons are - 1. when they are very busy for work and no intention to spend time for lunch 2. They are poor or have not enough money to eat. 3. sometimes people go to eat nearby whatever restaurant is available.

No way these foods are expensive in western country and not the symbol of luxury.
These are the foods for working people or poor people. In our country, it is the symbol of status for so called modern people. In western country, of course, educated society has good family value. In our country only very poor workers in city life and very modern society of urban life have less family value. Poor workers have been struggling for their every day life to be afforded and modern society wants to keep their life more private - these are the two reasons for the demotion of social and family values.

In some western countries, leaders go to the oath by their faith. In our country people first go to do pooja for Zia or Mujib and then go for commencement or inauguration. I bet some awami leaders never supposed to be in politics if Sheikh Mujib was alive. Similar case supposed to be for some corrupted leaders in BNP. They want to put pictures of those two renowned leaders all over the wall of Bangladesh to tribute more respect everyday. We cannot see this kind of honor for the famous leaders of many other countries. But they have full respect for them at the deep inside of their mind. Who can say Bangladesh has cultural value right now ?
