Joynal Hazari, a former Awami League MP, was today set free from Feni jail following the High Court granted bail in an arms case in which was awarded life imprisonment six years ago. Once a dreaded godfather of terrorists' and expelled from Awami League, Joynal Hazari was set free at about 11 am.
The High Court today acquitted former Awami League lawmaker Joynal Abedin Hazari of the charges of an arms case. He was accused in total 23 cases. Earlier, he got bail in 11 cases and was acquitted of the charges of another 10 cases while the government withdrew another case filed against him.
