All set for 45th convocation of DU tomorrow

All is set for the holding of the 45th convocation of Dhaka University (DU) tomorrow (Saturday). President Zillur Rahman, also the Chancellor of the university, will preside over the programme as chief guest. DU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at an exchange of views with journalists yesterday sought cooperation from all for the success of the convocation.

6 injured in BCL internal clash at DU

Six students were injured in a clash between two rival groups Bangladesh Chhatra League, the students organisation of ruling Awami League, in the campus of Dhaka University on Tuesday. The rival groups are BCL units of Kabi Jashim Uddin Hall and Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall, sources in the campus said.
