EU finds Mujib killing trial ‘respectable’
Thu January 28, 2010 - 2:06am BdSTThe European Union expressed its satisfaction at the judicial process followed in the trial of the killing of the country’s founding president Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. ‘We see it [the process of trial] respectable,’ the head of the EU Delegation to Bangladesh, Stefan Frowein, said at the foreign ministry in reply to a question of New Age on whether the EU had any question on the procedure of trial of the killers.
