Police arrested Mohaimenul for CU student Mohiuddin killing in Ctg

Police arrested prime suspect and eyewitnesses Mohaimenul in the killing of slain Chittagong University (CU) masters student AAM Mohiuddin Masum from a house at 9.15 pm at city's Feeringibaazar tonight. Police said a special team of the detectives of CMP and Kotwali police jointly picked the prime suspect Mohaimenul Islam also a second year student of CU, after nearly 72 hours of the killing of Mahiuddin a pro government Chatra league supporter.

EC concerned over law and order in city

The Election Commission (EC) is concerned over the security measures in connection with the next month's Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) polls in the wake of deterioration of law and order situation and recent killing of one of the ward commissioners.

Classes, exams suspended at CU till Feb 18

AAM Mohiuddin Masum, son of Fazlul Kader and a final year student of Political Science, was stabbed at Sholoshohar railway station around 8:45pm. He succumbed to his injuries on the way to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
