Bomb threat at National Press Club

A bomb threat in National Press Club forced to suspend all the scheduled programmes in it this morning. Rapid Action Battalion started a search operation at the club at about 10:30am after Detective Branch of Police received a bomb threat from an anonymous caller.

REHAB Fair from tomorrow

A Five-day long fair of Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) begins at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre tomorrow.

A total of 187 real estate companies and five financial organisations will participate in the fair.

Breastfeeding can cut infant mortality by one-third

Speakers at a roundtable yesterday said it is the right time for promoting breastfeeding as the toxicity of artificial infant formulas has been proved in laboratory tests.

They said the melamine contamination issue has once again reminded us that nothing can be the alternative to breast milk for physical and mental development of the babies.
