Govt to form PLC for coal-based power plants

Power Division will form a Public Limited Company(PLC) which will work to establish four coal based power plants having capacity of producing 5,00MW of electricity each by 2014 through Public Private Partnership (PPP). "For this, the Power Development Board (PDB) has already formed a committee to prepare draft for this company," a senior official of the Power Division said.
