Lalitokala Kendra, Pabna observed Rabindra-Nazrul Jayatni with much festivity recently. A discussion and cultural programme was held at Pabna Bonomali Auditorium last Friday.<
Lalitokala Kendra organised the programme marking 147th birth anniversary of the noble laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore and 109th birth anniversary of the National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

Bangladesh Rabindra Sangeet Shilpi Sangstha (BRSSS) arranged a musical programme at the Shawkat Osman Auditorium, Central Public Library on May 27 to mark its 20th anniversary. Members of the organisation celebrated the day with renditions of Tagore songs.

To celebrate the 147th birth anniversary of Noble Laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore, Chhayanat organised a musical soiree "Rabindra Jayanti- 1415" at the Shawkat Osman Memorial Auditorium, Central Public Library on May 12.
Chhayanat holds special programmes to mark birth and death anniversaries of Tagore every year.

Rabindra Kachharibari at Shahzadpur in Sirajganj that preserves many of the famous works of nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore is now in a shambles due to lack of care and maintenance. Many works of Tagore inside the Kachharibari building was also exposed to damage and destruction due to indifference of the local administration for their proper upkeep.
