659 more political cases recommended for withdrawal

An inter-ministerial committee on disposal of politically motivated cases yesterday recommended withdrawal of 659 more 'politically motivated' cases as early as possible. The recommendations were placed at a meeting of the committee, which was formed on February 22 last year. State Minister for Law Advocate Quamrul Islam chaired the meeting.

JCD demands withdrawal of case
