The Bayonet of Experimental Bangla Rock Music

Aurthohin is the name of one of the topmost and popular bands of Bangladesh, who are famous for their melodic as well as the heavy metal songs. Aurthohin always aims to present something new to their listeners and thus they always try to do the experimental music.

So readers, let's explore the theory of creating experimental music with the Bayo¬net of Bangla Rock Band 'Aurthohin'. Though the meaning of the word "Aurthohin" is 'meaningless' in English but each and every song of Aurthohin has some profound meanings. Aurthohin was formed in the year 1999 and with intent hard works; they were able to come up with their first album "Trimaatrik" in the very next year. Some of the songs of that album became very popular. Sooner, by the next 3 years after that, they came up with three more albums consecutively named "Biborton','"Notun Diner Michil" and "Dhrubo'.'AII these albums were also well accepted by the listeners. But meanwhile of their magnificent advancement, due to Shumon's abrupt illness, Aurthohin unexpectedly stopped performing in stage shows and releasing new albums for few years. This was pretty undesirable to the fan group of this band as well as the mass audience. Later, after a long break, Aurthohin again came up with their 5th album named "Osomapto-V; which was released on September 25,2008.

'Aurthohin' is basically very famous for covering both the genres: soft rock and heavy metal. The main vocal of 'Authohin' Shumon shared with Stardom, "So many people form band groups with different mottos, such as- some people come up with the desires of performing on the stage, some starts with the plans of doing some real good music and there are also some people who form band groups to earn money. Well when it comes to our band, I would rather say that all the members of Aurtho¬hin had to go through several hurdles and impediments to reach to this current position. This proves that we love music and music is our passion. Earning from the band is a secondary issue to us". Shumon also added, "In recent times, many people are involved in music scenario and so many bands are also coming up nowadays but it has been surveyed that very few good quality music are being produced" While he was asked about their future plans and the future of the band music in Bangladesh, he replied, "In future, we have plans to come up with good music videos for our band and also we will start working on our next album. Besides, I believe that there is a great hope of band music in our country; we just have to concentrate more in music and get more devoted to our band"
