Concert with foreign artists is not a new issue in our country. It has been happening for long time. And I do not see anything to oppose this matter.

It is natural that they will come to our country and we will go to theirs. If this cultural exchange does not take place then its smooth progress will not happen.

For long time different event organizing companies of our country has been playing role in cultural exchange by arranging concerts.

But nowadays all of a sudden different complaints are raised against these event firms. Canceling a concert, finance related troubles, etc are the problems that are discussed.

So far I did not have such problems with any firm. But for past few days this has been happening in several concerts.

However, it would be unfair to blame all the event firms for these problems. The firms which are guilty have to be opposed. And probably government needs put the spotlight on discussed rules and regulations about bringing foreign artists. It is government’s job solve these problems under existing law and monitor them regularly.

As an artist I have sole demand that if any firm organizes a concert they should get everything sorted out before announcing. So that audiences do not have to know in last moment that concert is canceled and their hard-earned money is not spent in vain. If this happens that it would be deceiving audiences.

However, I think if foreign artists are implicated here and cultural exchange is disrupted, then outcome of this in future will be poor.
