From the early childhood, ‘Abudllah Daiyan Bin Anwar Shuvro’ started taming the dreams to become an actor; and his family member and cousins inspired him a lot in this regard.
Later, with the help of Shuvra’s relative Asif Nazrul, he reached the modeling arena. At first, he worked as a model for ‘Eid Fashion Catalogue of weekly 2000’. After that, ‘Shuvro’ took part in the talent hunt contest “Aagamir Taroka” jointly organized by ‘Afzal Hossain’ and ‘Channel-I’; but it did not clicked for him that time. Still he was not frustrated rather he was more optimistic that, in the year 2002, he participated in “You Got the Look Contest.
” Though ‘Shuvro’ could not win any prize in this contest, he was able to create the platform for his carrer through this contest. After this contest, ‘Shuvro’ got an opportunity to work with the ‘International Fashion Designer Bibi Russel’. After that he did not need to look back. In the mean time, ‘Shuvro’ has participated in more that 200 fashion shows.
He has also participated in the weeklong fashion show in ‘ETV Bangla’ for ‘Pooja Festival’, which was directed by ‘Rajoshri Das’. Last year ‘Shuvro’ became a model for a T-shirt brand of thailand and also performed in a Thai music video. ‘Shuvro’ debuted his performance in the Television screen in 2004 as a model of the telecommunication brand ‘City Cell’.
He also has worked in the advertisements of ‘Close up’& ‘Pran Flour’. ‘Shuvro’ performed as a ramp model for almost all the fashion houses. Among these ‘Rong’, ‘Altamira’, ‘Kolka’ and ‘Hery’s Heritage’ are some of his favorites. ‘Biplob Shaha’, ‘Emdad Huq’ and ‘Tutli Rahman’ are in the list of his favorite designers. According to ‘Shuvro’, ramp is a plate of emotion and while answering a question ‘Shuvro’ said, “Still there is a huge lack of professionalism in the ramp modeling ground in Bangladesh. But as the fashion house are coming up with varieties of collection, the numbers of fashion shows are increasing and more young talents are become interested to come into it.”
‘Shuvro’ believes that the ramp is the base of modeling as well as acting and from this belief ‘Shuvro’ recently has joined a theater group named ‘Nattokendro’. He is regularly acting in the recent stage plays “Aroj Choritamrito”. ‘Shuvro’ wants to become an actor but by continuing the ramp modeling in parallel. ‘Shuvro’ is not only a ramp model, he is also a Choreographer. Some of his works as the Choreographer are ‘Boisakhi Fashion Show of Janata Club’, ‘CJFB Award Fashion Show’ and ‘Jubok Launching Fashion Show’. Besides, he has already worked in a short film.
