The process of getting a schedule has spurred on to the Police. Shakib Khan had to come to the police quarters seeing no other way. He somehow managed to deal with the producer who brought charges- in the presence of high officials. At the same time he took his fine by signing and left the place.
The incidence was of last Thursday (18th June). We came to know that back in 2008, the producerFazlul Haq Rahim had signed a deal with Shakib Khan relating to the movie Dojokh. The deal was on 10 lakh taka.Nadim Mahmud directed movie for which Shakib Khan was initially given a signing money of four lakh. At that time the actor was ill.
Shakib Khan took preparations to leave for Bangkok on treatment. After signing Shakib Khan said that he will give his schedule after coming back from Bangkok. But after coming back from Bangkok he started rescheduling for the last one and half years. At one time producer Fazlul Haq Rahim had to take refuge under law.
He put up a general diary in Tejgaon thana against the actor. He mentioned in the diary, “Since Shakib Khan did not schedule according to plan, he had to experience around 70 lakh taka loss. According to this G.D, O.C Mahtab Uddin had issued a notice to Shakib Khan to come to the police quarters.
Following the notice the actor appeared in the Tejgaon police station on Thursday. He said to the producer that he will provide his schedule in 2011, but the producer did not agree to it and asked for his full signing money as well as the loss money from him.
Shakib Khan had to pay him 2 lakhs and after that around 6 lakhs taka and just after that day he left for China. After getting the signing money, Fazlul Haq withdrew his G.D. Shakib Khan is now the sole star in Dhaliwood and he knows this and so he is trying to manipulate the producers and asking heavy sum from them.
After getting cash money from me, for two whole years he had played with scheduling! In the end he had to take the help of police.
Shakib Khan has to stop this. I know he has done similarly with other producers as well- taking the money and not scheduling.
I hope that if everyone takes the benefit of law- they will be able to work according to schedule and the whole film industry will be benefited. Since Shakib Khan was not present in the country, we could not take any reaction from him.
