আওয়ামী লীগ 'ডিজিটাল কারচুপির' মাধ্যমে বিএনপির ভোট ছিনতাই করেছে বলে অভিযোগ করেছেন দলটির দপ্তর সম্পাদক রিজভী আহমেদ। বৃহস্পতিবার গুলশানে দলের চেয়ারপারসনের কার্যালয়ে এক সংবাদ ব্রিফিংয়ে রিজভী আহমেদ এ কথা বলেন।
দৃশ্যত আওয়ামী লীগের নির্বাচনী ইশতেহারে বর্ণিত আধুনিক ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশ গড়ার অঙ্গীকার অনুকরণ করেই তাদের বিরুদ্ধে এ অভিযোগ তুললো বিএনপি।
নির্বাচন কমিশন বলেছে নির্বাচনে ৮৭ শতাংশের সামান্য বেশি ভোট পড়েছে। দেশি-বিদেশি পর্যবেক্ষকরা নির্বাচন সামান্য ব্যতিক্রম বাদে সুষ্ঠু ও নিরপেক্ষ হয়েছে বলে মত দিলেও বিএনপি তা অস্বীকার করে প্রতিটি আসনেই কারচুপি হয়েছে বলে দাবি করেছে।
বৃহস্পতিবার সন্ধ্যায় বিভিন্ন এলাকায় বিএনপির পরাজিত প্রার্থীরা বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসনের সঙ্গে দেখা করে ভোট কারচুপি ও নির্যাতনের কথিত তথ্য প্রমাণ উপস্থাপন করেন।
