Peoples confidence level falling sharply
Approximately, starting 30 day before the election, the confidence level among people rose very high. Before the formation of cabinet, it was at it's peak. The formation of new ministry frustated some people a bit. People started losing confidence with Khaleda & 31 MP's oath problem, and was accelerated with opposition's walk out from the parliament.
Killings at BDR's has devastating affect on peoples confidence; and it is going down the drain with the leakage of investigations by authorities. Anti Indian propaganda creating fear among ordinary people.
Sudent unrest, degradation of law and order, dissatisfaction among military, shortage of electricity, gas, water, unemployment, worldwide financial crisis are the current factors bringing the nation's confidence to the lowest level. This stagnant situation will take toll on the nation and may lead to more financial & social down falls.
Until next boost comes from some source, the nation will not feel confidence of doing development works.

প্রস্তাবটা অনেক বছর আগে এ ম্যাসেজ বোর্ডেই রেখেছিলাম, নতুন করে আবারও রাখছি। বাংলাদেশেকে দু'টি প্রদেশে ভাগ করে দু'টি পরিবারের কাছে দাপ্তরিকভাবে ইজারা দেয়ার ব্যবস্থা সংক্রান্ত। প্রথমত, যারা নির্বচনে জেতবে তাদেরকে দেয়া হবে ঢাকা চট্টগ্রাম সহ অর্থনৈতিকভাবে শক্তিশালী প্রদেশ, বিজিত দলের জন্যে থাকবে কম উন্নত প্রদেশ। এভাবে ক্ষমতার স্বাদ দুই পরিবারের মাঝেই ভাগ করা যাবে এবং দেশের আর্থ-সামাজিক সহ সব অর্থনৈতিক ইনডেক্সগুলো উন্নত করার কার্যক্রম নতুন করে শুরু করা যাবে। ৫ বছর পর পর নির্বাচন হবে যৌথভাবে, ফলাফলের উপর ভিত্তি করে নতুন করে বন্টন করা হবে দেশের মালিকানা। দেশের কোটি কোটি দল এবং নেত্রী পাগল আমজনতাকে নিজ নিজ নেত্রীর প্রদেশে বাস করার ব্যবস্থা করা হবে। এমন একটা দ্বিখন্ডিত দেশে আজীবনের জন্যে হরতাল সহ রাজনীতির বিভিন্ন অপকর্মের চীরস্থায়ী কবর রচনা করা যাবে। সবাই খূশী হলে আমরাও খূশী, ইমেলাকেও আমরা দুইভাগ করে নিজ নিজ নেত্রীর স্তূতি রচনা করার স্থায়ী প্ল্যাটফর্ম বানাতে পারব।
শুনতে খারাপ লাগছে? লাগবেই। আপনার কাছে এর চেয়ে ভাল কোন প্রস্তাব থাকলে চটজলদি বলে ফেলুন। বাংলাদেশে পরিবর্তন দরকার এবং তা হতে হবে এখুনি। আসন্ন গৃহযুদ্ব হতে দেশকে উদ্বার করতে আমাদের সবার সহযোগীতা একান্ত কাম্য।

অনেক বিষয়ে আপনার অনেক গুলো পোষ্টিংযের পূর্বে অমত করলেও বর্তমানের এই লোভনীয় প্রস্তাবে (হ্যাঁ) অথবা ধরতে পারেন (আজ্ঞে জী) সুচক ভোট দিচ্ছি। অতীতে কক্সবাজারের বিপক্ষে ভোট দেবার কথা বলেছিলেন, বাঙ্গালীরা কক্সবাজার কে বিশ্ববাজারে তুলে ধরার যোগ্য নয় বলেছিলেন, কেন জানি তখন আপনার উচ্চ মানের উচ্চ প্রস্তাবে স্বর মেলাতে পারিনি। এবারের এই প্রস্তাবে হ্যাঁ সুচক ভোট দিয়ে নিজেকে ভাগ্যবান করলাম।
আসলে আমরা বাংলাদেশের মানুষ, নিজেদের দেশটিকে স্বাধীন আর সার্বভৌম দেখতে চাই কিনা তার জন্য একটা মেমোরেন্ডাম নেওয়া দরকার। গরুর ওলানটি ছিল ও পাড়ে আর মুখটি ছিল এপাড়ে আমাদের কাছে, ৩৮ বছর আগে বুকের রক্ত ঢেলে দিয়ে ওলানটি এপাড়ে নিয়ে আসলাম। কিন্তু পোড়া কপাল আমাদের, দুধ খাওয়া আমাদের কপালে জোটেনি। দুর্ভিক্ষে কেউ কেউ নিজের সন্তান কে মরতে দেখলেও, কারো কারো সন্তানের মাথায় সোনার মুকুট ঠিকই উঠেছিল। গণতন্ত্রের জন্য সারাজীবন অশ্রু বিসর্জন (কেউ কেউ বলে কুম্ভিরাশ্রু) করে, গণতন্ত্রের উদ্দেশ্য লয়ে, স্বাধীনতা অর্জন করে আবার ঐ গণতন্ত্র কেই খেয়ালের যুপকাষ্টে বলি দেয়া হল।

ঘটনার কয়েকদিন পরের কথা, যখন বাংলাদেশের কোন কোন মহল বিডিয়ার এর ঘটনার পিছনে ইন্ডিয়ার হাত আছে বলে শোরগোল করছেন তখন একটি ফোরামে ইন্ডিয়ার এক ব্যাক্তি যা বুঝাতে চাইলেন তা নিন্মরুপ
"২৫ শে ফেব্রুয়ারি যদি প্রণব বাবু হাসিনাকে সুপথ না দেখাতেন তবে আজ হয়তো বাংলাদেশে গৃহযুদ্ধই থাকতো। হ্যা সেদিন হাসিনা যখন প্রণব বাবুকে বললেন বিডিয়ার, জনতা আর উনি মিলে এদেশের শত্রু সেনাবাহিনিকে ধ্বংস করে দিবেন। তখন প্রণব বাবুই তাকে বুঝালেন সেনাবাহিনীর সাথে তোমরা পারবে না। আর তুমি যে আমাদের সাহায্য চাচ্ছো তাতে আমার আপত্তি নেই, আমরা তোমাকে সাহায্য করতে পারবো কিন্তু যে মূহুর্তে আমাদের সেনারা তোমাদের সীমানায় পা দেবে সেই মূহুর্তেই তুমি একা হয়ে যাবে। জনতাও তোমার থাকবে না বিডিয়ারও তোমার থাকবে না। সাপ মেরেছো ভালো করেছো এবার যেন লাঠি না ভাঙ্গে সেই ব্যাবস্থা করো।"
সেদিন ভাবলাম এটিও হয়তো একটা জামায়াতি প্রচারণামাত্র। কিন্তু এখন যখন দেখছি UNIVERSITY কে টপকে কয়েকজন দলিয় ক্যাডার প্রধানমন্ত্রিকে এই ঘটনাকে কেন্দ্র করে Doctorate Degree দিচ্ছে আর প্রধানমন্ত্রি সহাস্যে সেটা উপভোগ করছে তখন আমার মন বলে এই প্রধানমন্ত্রি দ্বারা সবই সম্ভব।

BDR Massacre: Ruling party leader arrested in Bangladesh
President of Bangladesh Awami League City Ward Committee [Dhaka], Haji Torab Ali Akhand has been arrested by the members of Rapid Action Battalion [RAB] on Wednesday evening from a sawmill named Madina Sawmill [which is located near the Bangladesh Riffles headquarters gate number 5] for his involvement in bringing out procession in favor of the killer BDR men during February 25-26 in Dhaka.
Ali is a former Subedar of Bangladesh Riffles and father of Harunur Rashid aka Leather Liton, a top terrorist in Bangladesh. Leather Liton is a former leader of the student wing of Awami League.
It is learnt that, Madina Sawmill owned by Haji Torab Ali was a regular gathering place of BDR men. His son-in-law Rezaul Karim Razu works as a contractor at the BDR headquarters.
Meanwhile, there are indications that a number of front-ranking figures in Bangladesh Awami League may also be arrested soon for their involvement behind the BDR Massacre in Dhaka. State Minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Parliamentary Whip Mirza Azam [brother-in-law of Islamist militancy kingpin Shaikh Abdur Rahman], Haji Mockbull, Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, Abdul Jalil, Shamim Osman and several more are already in the suspect list of the investigators.
There is a specific eye of the investigators on Mirza Azam when the case of murder of Colonel Gulzar Uddin Ahmed turned public. Gulzar, one of the brightest army officers who were killed in the "armed rebellion", is best known for his efficient detection and operations against Islamist militants and terrorists. He was the man behind arrest of Jamaatul Mujahedin kingpin Shaikh Abdur Rahman.
Gulzar was known as one of the brightest army officers of the country. Because of his knowledge about the militants' network, Gulzar was a revered name in the country's law-enforcement and defence agencies.
Gulzar is a legend in the anti-terrorist and anti-Islamist drives. His skill, professionalism, knowledge and sincerity are beyond question. His commitment was unparallel. He was all along a resourceful and professional officer in regards to militancy, terrorism or any heinous acts. He was honest down to the core."
As the Awami League government's explicit commitments include a fight against terrorism and religious extremists, it was expected that the government would benefit from Gulzar's skills and knowledge on the matter. But he was transferred to BDR as the commander of Sylhet Sector at the end of January.
Colonel Gulzar’s voice was last heard by friends and colleagues over cellphone when the killings began inside the Pilkhana Headquarters around 9:00am.
Killers smashed his body. "Some of his relatives were too afraid to see the decomposing, ruined body," says a rescuer.
"Those who saw his body said his eyes might have been gouged out; his spinal cord was broken and his body bears the mark of terrible torture. Apparently, he was killed by gunshots," the rescuer adds.
A family member said his face was bloated. "It was impossible for anyone to recognise him from seeing that face."
On February 25, when the mutiny degenerated into a bloodbath inside the BDR HQ, Gulzar had no time to call his family. He last saw his family members at his Dhaka home earlier that morning.
In a frantic bid to resist the "mutineers", Gulzar called his former colleagues at the Rapid Action Battalion [RAB] repeatedly, seeking help.
Colonel Gulzar’s father Anwar Uddin Ahmed was killed by Pakistani occupation forces during the war of independence of Bangladesh in 1971.
Meanwhile, government is going to remove Home Minister Sahara Khatun from her position soon, for her severe failure in properly handling the BDR Massacre issue. State Minister for Home Affairs, Sohel Taj will also be removed from his post.
There is also indication of change in the Foreign Ministry. Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud [Member of Parliament] may replace Dr. Dipu Moni. Barrister Mahmud is expected to be included in the cabinet soon.

রাজশাহী, মার্চ ১৩ (বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকম) - রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ছাত্রলীগের নেতাকর্মীদের সঙ্গে দফায় দফায় সংঘর্ষে জামায়াতে ইসলামী সমর্থক ছাত্রশিবির নেতা নিহত এবং উভয়পক্ষের অন্তত অর্ধশতাধিক নেতাকর্মী আহত হওয়ার জের ধরে শুক্রবার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য বন্ধ ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী প্রক্টর মোস্তাক আহমেদ বিডিনিউজ টোয়েন্টিফোর ডটকমকে বলেন, "ছাত্রদের বিকেল ৫টা এবং ছাত্রীদের আগামীকাল সকাল ১০ টার মধ্যে হল ত্যাগ করতে বলা হয়েছে। প্রয়োজনে ছাত্রীদের জন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবহনের ব্যবস্থা করবে।"
তিনি জানান, দুপুর ১২ টার পর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রশাসন পুলিশ কর্মকর্তাদের সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেছে। উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. আব্দুস সোবহানের সভাপতিত্ব অনুষ্ঠিত বৈঠকে এ সব সিদ্ধান্ত হয়।

Two guys whose competence and role in handling the event have just been criticized by the army and opposition, confusing news are coming in the media on them (though there is no reason to believe or disbelieve unless any official inquiry report comes), they are handing out the award.

নিশৃংশ হত্যাকান্ডের আজ ষোলতম দিন। দিন যত গড়াচ্ছে, কেন জানিনা, প্রতিহিংসার আগুন দাউ দাউ করে বাড়ছে বুকের ভেতরে। কিছু রাস্ট্রীয় লুটেরাদের প্রাপ্য শাস্তি দেয়ার প্রচেষ্টার পুরস্কার স্বরুপ আমাদের দেশপ্রেমিক সেনাবাহিনীর ভাগ্যে জুটেছে সুইয়েরেজে নিক্ষিপ্ত ৭২টি লাশ, অসংখ্য অত্যাচারিত নারী ও শিশু।সরকারি দলের সরাসরি নেতৃত্বে এই হিংস্র প্রতিশোধের পুরস্কার স্বরুপ হাসিনাকে দেয়া হচ্ছে শান্তি পুরস্কার। দেশ বিদেশ থেকে অমানবিক মানব সম্প্রাদায়ের তরফ থেকে আসছে শুভেচ্ছা বানী। আর দেশের লাখো মানুষ অপেক্ষায় আছে আসল প্রতিশোধের। কবে দেখব সরকাড়ি দলের রক্তে ছেয়ে আছে রাজপথ? বিএনপি যদি এই ঘটনাকে পুজি করে হলেও সেনাবাহিনিকে তাদের প্রাপ্য প্রতিশোধ নিয়ে দিতে পারে তবে তাই সই।তারপরও চাই এ খেলার খেলোয়ারদের রক্ত। যে দেশে কোন বিচার ব্যবস্থা নেই, সেখানে সুষ্ঠু বিচার নামক আকাশ কুসুম স্বপ্ন না দেখে চাই, রক্তের বদলে রক্ত।
