If his decision was based on quality and skill of writing as well as sophistication of language I have no issue of admitting that the Editor selected the correct one. However, when I consider the substance or message embedded in the author’s write up I am sorry to say that it’s intended beneficiary is a group of traitors who caused maximum damage to our national interest and overall progress in the name of 1/11. It is beyond question that I am one of them who was absolutely fed up with the endless corruption and limitless failure by politicians, The author watchdog_bd has rightfully been able to project this unbelievable corruption committed by the politicians in his write up. However, he used his brilliant skill of writing to propagate some misinformation to unjustly demonize a respected leader and a undisputed hero of our fight for freedom. I am sure the author already knows who I am referring to. I do not know what was the role of this author during our liberation war. But, I know one thing for sure that he has a lot of hatred in his mind against Zia probably from the day he (the author) was born. It sounds to me this gentleman was born to hate Zia and our nationalism. I have been reading his articles and letters in this forum for long time and I don’t remember a single lucky occasion when this gentleman has a said a good thing about Zia. Zia came to power as a counter to military coup of by pro-India Brigadier Khaled Mosarrof through a massive united Sipahi-Janata biplob. Zia was pushed to the point of death as army chief by this coward brigadier and Zia never staged a military coup to capture state power. Let me make long story short. This gentleman wrote that Awami League has issued a death warrant of her own by creating Baksal, a one party rule. However, he skillfully avoided to mention who broke one party rule also known as Baksal to revive multi party democracy. He did never mention even by mistake who brought back dignity of Bangladesh from the infamous label of “Bottomless basket”. I have never read a single word written by Watchdog_bd to express minimum decency of appreciating Zia’s undisputed honesty which is a rare commodity in Bangladesh. Reading his many posting it will not be wrong to come to the conclusion that this gentleman has invested all his powerful writing skill to demonize Zia unjustly to satisfy his personal grudge. I wish he would have devoted a fraction of his talents to write on numerous evil acts of two most hated general of same root in the histry of Bangladesh, Ershad and Moeen. This brilliant author seem to have a great deal of weakness on this two traitors. Most of the industrial loan were taken by submitting a project plan, showing creation of jobs; we all know where the money went, buying realestate, laudering abroad, invested in contracing business, family expenses.
