Boishakhi Bhabna-Afsana Mimi

To me, 'Boishakh' is the herald of new messages, opportunities and days. l hope that this New Year will bring a noticeable change in our culture as well as in our society. We will get back the happiness that we used to have previously.

This reminds me of my childhood when I used to celebrate the 'Pohela Boishakh’ with my friends at the Ramna under the Banyan Tree. I missed those days very much. Usually I stay home on this day and people come at my place. Sometime I can't manage time to spend with my family, but I try to go to my relatives' places and also hang out with friends on Pahela Boishakh'. Once upon a time I used to go to the Ramna regularly, but now time and works have restricted so many enjoyments of life. On the contrary, I simply hate that brutality of the bombing violence, which created a phobia inside the culture lovers.

I believe Bangali people will be more united to face those cruel rascals who are destroying the Bangla culture by using the ladder of the religion. We are Bangali, we know how to face them and uphold our culture and heritage.Anyway, I have all Cherishes of 'Pohela Boishakh' to Stardom and it's readers.

Farhana Mili

Though I'm living at Shyamoli nowadays, but l grew up in the Nawabpur area of the old Dhaka. So, as you know that, the old Dhaka people celebrate this day in the most colorful way. Almost all of them wear new dresses.

Last year I celebrated this day at University with my friends because that was my rag day. 'Boishakh; just like the other people, is something very special to me.

Usually I wear 'Saari' on this festival. This time also I would follow the trend. Wish you ''Shubho Noboborsho'' Stardom and all the readers.
