The nomination paper submitted by poet Mohon Raihan to the Election Commiss-ion in Sir-ajganj as an independent candidate from Sirajganj-2 constituency for the upcoming national election has been rejected.

Election Commission office sources said, Mohon Raihan's nomination paper was discarded as he submitted false paper and used some false signatures of the voters in the list containing names of one per cent voters of the constituency as his supporters, as required by election law.

When the news spread in the area Mohon left Sirajganj for Dhaka, it has been learnt.
