National Association of UNESCO Clubs in Bangladesh will hold a daylong ‘UNESCO Club Flower Show Competition 2009’ on February 5 at BANBEIS Bhaban in Dhaka.

Commerce minister Faruq Khan will inaugurate the show as chief guest while Rahat Khan, editor of the daily Ittefaq, Professor Aminul Islam of Dhaka University and Kiichi Oyasu, officer-in-charge, UNESCO Dhaka office, will attend the function as special guests, a press release said.

Education secretary Syed Ataur Rahman will attend the prize giving ceremony as chief guest while Omura Hiroshi, first secretary, Japanese Embassy in Bangladesh, as special guest.

Professor Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury of Dhaka University will chair the closing ceremony.
