Dhaka, Monday, June 29, 2009 - 1:28pm Awami League MP Akhteruzzaman Babu has proposed that the parliament adopt a resolution urging the Nobel Committee to honour prime minister Sheikh Hasina with the Nobel prize.
"I have been in politics with her for 26 years. I think she should get the Nobel Prize," Babu said as he spoke on the proposed national budget for 2009-10 fiscal year on Monday.
The proposal was greeted with table thumping by the ruling MPs in the House being boycotted by opposition MPs since the start of the budget session. "Let us adopt a resolution urging to award Nobel prize for Sheikh Hasina and send it (to the Nobel Committee)," Babu said just winding up his speech.

OE: Closing my eyes, I imagined Hasina got Nobel
I saw Hasina arrived Zia airport from Norway, AL people were waiting with few trucks of flowers; first sentence she said, "I changed the name of our country from Bangladesh to Sheikhdesh ( after Sheikh Hasina, not after Mujib)."
Then she asked, "where is Khaleda Mojumder?"
All AL people replied back, "She ran away to Saudi."

I don't know why Hasina should be a candidate for Nobel prize owner.
Parliament shouldn't make decision for the candidency of Nobel, if does value less.
Nobel committee doesn't care country or politics barrier. They curtainly select recommender for recommendation from dedicated country or region. Usually this person would a University proffessor or well social worker. Nobody know who would become a recommender. Once recommender send list of name with the reason why they can be a candidate. Nobel committee gather information and then start investigation and evalution in many step then finally select prize owner.
However, parliament member thinks anything for AL is meaning less.

Some obnoxious idea and speech of an obnoxious person
This is just some obnoxious idea and speech of some obnoxious people. What is the achievement to make her eligible for Nobel prize? And what is the business of parliament for that? There has always been a separate prize committee which assesses the candidates all over the world, constantly.
This kind of blandishment simply tells us how low category many of our MPs belong to. Mr. A. Babu’s name is involved in many controversy and crime acts in Chittagong.
