Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Saturday evening called upon the party men to remain alert about any subversive activities ahead of and after the Supreme Court verdict in the Bangabandhu murder case on November 19.

"The prime minister asked the leaders and activists of the party to remain alert against any subversive activities and conspiracies centring the delivery of the verdict," AL' Joint Secretary General Mahbub Alam Hanif told reporters tonight. The prime minister made the call during a meeting of the Awami League Central Working Committee at her official residence Jamuna with Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Starting at about 5:30pm, the meeting continued till 9:15pm.
