Australia in semifinals

Australia qualified to play England in the Champions Trophy semi-finals after defeating Pakistan by two wickets at SuperSport Park Wednesday. Australia reached the target in the final delivery to make 206 for 8. Earlier, Pakistan were restricted to 205 for five in 50 overs.

By virtue of this victory Australia became Group A champions and will face England in the first semifinal on Friday. Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the second semifinal on October 3. Meanwhile, the West Indies were bowled out for 129 against India in their last match in Johannesburg on Wednesday. Even a win will not be enough for India to reach semis.
