A Dhaka court on Friday placed Khandaker Mehnaz Rashid, the eldest daughter of Lt Col (retd) Khandaker Abdur Rashid, a fugitive condemned to death in Bangabandhu assassination case, on a four-day remand in a case filed for bomb attack on lawmaker Fazle Noor Taposh.

Metropolitan Magistrate Emdadul Haque of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court passed the order as Detective Branch of Police produced her before the court this morning seeking a 10-day fresh remand for interrogation to find her links to October 21 bomb attack on Taposh. DB police picked up Mehnaz from her father's residence at Gulshan-2 on October 24. She was taken on a five-day remand on the same day.
