Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina asked the home ministry to take necessary action against the authorities of the garments factory responsible for the violent incident occurred in Tongi of Gazipur on Saturday.

Prime Minister's Press Secretary Abdul Kalam Azad told the news agency quoting the premier. The authorities of the Nippon Garments Factory laid the factory off this morning without paying the arrears for three months of the workers, leading to the violent incident, officials said.
