UP chairman who shot into crowd arrested

The Detective Branch (DB) of Police today arrested runaway Sultanganj Union Parishad chairman Monir Hossain who shot into a crowd of angry protesters at Ashrafabad in Kamrangirchar on June 9, killing one and injuring two others.

A union parishad (UP) chairman yesterday sprayed bullets on a crowd at Ashrafabad in Kamrangirchar on the outskirts of the capital, leaving one youth dead on the spot and another bullet-injured.
