Bangladesh will be playing in Group B in the ICC world cup 2011 along with India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Ireland and Netherlands. An International Cricket Council Board meeting in Johannesburg today confirmed the groups for the One-Day cricket’s largest gala, reports a private television channel.

Chittagong to host 2 world cup matches

Two matches of the ICC World Cup 2011 would be held in Chittagong, said Md Zahid Ahsan Russel, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on youth and sports. "The parliamentary body has made the recommendation in view of the long-standing demand of the people of the port city," Russel told reporters after a meeting of the body this afternoon.
