Govt to restore spirit of ‘72 constitution: Shafique

Law Minister Shafique Ahmed on Monday said the government would take steps to restore the spirit of original constitution of 1972 after getting copy of the Supreme Court judgment over the fifth amendment to the constitution.

সংবিধানের পঞ্চম সংশোধনী বাতিল হলেও বিসমিল্লাহ শব্দটি বাদ যাবে না বলে জানিয়েছেন আইনমন্ত্রী শফিক আহমেদ। বৃহস্পতিবার সচিবালয়ে সাংবাদিকদের তিনি বলেন, "সংবিধান থেকে বিসমিল্লাহ শব্দটি বাদ যাবে না। শব্দটি যেখানে ছিল সেখানেই থাকবে। এ শব্দটি কেউ স্পর্শ করতে পারবে না।"
