BNP observes National Solidarity Day

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) observed the National Revolution and Solidarity Day on Saturday marking the civil-military "uprising" that led to release of then army chief Ziaur Rahman on this very day in 1975. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia placed wreath on the grave of late president Ziaur Rahman in the morning.
