PM seeks OIC assistance to fight climate change impact

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday sought assistance from the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) to fight the impact of climate change in Bangladesh. The premier made the call as the OIC Secretary General Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu paid a courtesy call on her at the Prime Minister's Office at about 10:30am. During the meeting, Sheikh Hasina said her government is tackling the impact of climate change with its limited resources.
