India appoints new envoy to Dhaka

India is replacing its high commissioner to Bangladesh Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty. The Indian government's ministry of external affairs announced on Tuesday that Chakravarty would be replaced by Rajeet Mitter currently India's ambassador to Philippines.
