TGTDL ultimatum to industrial consumers: Replace gas-fired inefficient boilers

The government will encourage efficient use of gas at consumers' level to reduce wastage of the country's precious resource following its crisis across the country. Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Limited (TGTDL) has already started serving letters to different industrial units to replace their inefficient industrial boilers within six months.

Better Business Forum to replace RRC

Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Sunday said the Better Business Forum (BBF) would be restructured and strengthened to take the place of the Regularity Reforms Commission (RRC). “RRC does not exist at this moment. We want to strengthen BBF,” he said after a meeting with Rachel Kyte, vice-president, Business Advisory Service of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) at his finance ministry office.
