Tuku asks Ctg lawmen to maintain law and order

State minister for home Shamsul Haque Tuku directed the officials to maintain the law and order strictly in the port city. The government has launched a combing operation across the country to arrest Islami Chhatra Shibir activists involving in criminal activities. 'Organisations with militant link to face ban'

The government would ban all the organisations gradually if their link with militant outfit or activities were found, State Minister for Home Shamsul Haque Tuku said on Wednesday. “The activities of several numbers of organisations are being keenly observed,” he said while addressing a meeting organised by the National Committee on Militancy Resistance and Prevention at his office.
