LGRD Minister Syed Ashraful Islam on Monday said BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's recent remark on the tenure of the present government was anti-constitutional and anti-state. Briefing reporters at the party's Dhanmondi office, Ashraf said only the parliament is empowered to force an elected government stepping down through impeachment or casting no-confidence vote. Ashraf said as an opposition party, BNP could threat an elected government like that. But AL was not afraid of such threat, he added.

AL men to get business for their sacrifice, says Ashraf
