বর্ষার প্রথম দিনে আজ সোমবার বৃষ্টির দেখা মেলেনি। তবে গ্রীষ্মের শেষ দিনে রাতে ছিল ঝমঝম বৃষ্টি। যেন তা ছিল বর্ষার আগমনী সংগীত। আরেকটা বর্ষা এসেছে বাঙালির জীবনে। আজ আলোচনা-গান-কবিতায় বর্ষা এল চারুকলার লিচু চত্বরে, ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের হাকিম চত্বরে। বিদগ্ধজনদের আলোচনা, শিল্পীদের বর্ষার গান পরিবেশনা এবং বর্ষার কবিতাপাঠের মধ্য দিয়ে বর্ষাকে বরণ করা হয়।

আমার নানা বাড়ির এক নানার কাছ থেকে শোনা একটি গল্প। গল্পটি এমন: একটি মাঠে একদল কিশোর একটি রুগ্ন ঘোড়া নিয়ে ঘোড়ায় চড়া শিখতেছিল। তারা শান্তিপুর্নভাবে পর্যায়ক্রমে ঘোড়ায় উঠে মাঠের চারিপাশে একপাক করে ঘুরে অপর জনকে সুযোগ দিচ্ছিল। এই সময় ওই জায়গা দিয়ে ইবলিস যাচ্ছিল। কিশোরদের দেখে ইবলিস ভাবলো আমি ইবলিস উপস্থিত আর বাচ্চারা শান্তিতে খেলবে!!??
