Responsibility

  • Good mathematical skills are required for this job
  • Greet all customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Record customer orders into the POS (point-of-sale) system, ensuring each and every request is fully and accurately entered.
  • Besides processing cash, debit card and credit card transactions for guests
  • Identify customer issues/complaints and take necessary steps to correct them.
  • Perform returns and special transactions through the POS system.
  • Keep the "Register Station" stocked with all necessary items.
  • Clean and organize the "Customer isle" when necessary.
  • Ensure a balance of the register at the end of the shift or working period.
  • Complete opening and closing duties.
  • Provide guests with estimate waiting time, always maintaining a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient or irate guests.
  • Accommodate special seating request for guest whenever possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
