BLAST is a leading national legal aid and human rights organization providing legal advice, mediation, and litigation services, and undertaking advocacy to ensure the rights of women, men and children living in poverty or facing discrimination/social exclusion. BLAST works through its Head Office in Dhaka and 25 District-level Offices with 2600+ panel lawyers and 100+partner organizations.Project Summary: LEGD programme has been designed to address marginalization, discrimination and exclusion in this context, before taking participants through the past work and achievements under the first phase, and expanding on the planned activities for the second phase, with a particular focus on changes to the programme implementation strategy (i.e. broadening the programme focus to include women and girls in addition to Hijra and gender diverse individuals; shifting to greater CBO engagement through capacity-building). This project is all about making connections between the work that is being carried out centrally and the work that needs to be carried out at the field level, to support cohesion within the programme.The Finance and Admin Officer is responsible for the Finance related CBO management of the LEGD project. S/he will provide direction for the project Oversee the financial operations of the organization and ensure timely and accurate financial reports and practices including cash management, payroll, financial disbursements, ledgers etc. Responsible for entering financial information and maintaining all financial records for projects and for the organization.
