Design market research, analyze data on export marketing to assess business opportunities, development potential and future trends, develop strategies for market penetration, and prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles
Monitor regional and local economic trends, and monitor economic data to assess the effectiveness and advise on the monetary and fiscal policies
Conduct comparative research on economic/social policy and programs of national, regional and international areas
Analyze factors which determine economic growth and advise government agencies on policies to increase economic activities
Analyze factors which determine labor force participation, employment, wages, unemployment and other labor market outcomes
Develop economic and social profiles of the industry
Organize events like workshops, seminars and others
Coordinate relevant projects of BGMEA
Work closely with the BGMEA management and secretariat and coordinate with other functional areas of BGMEA
Qualifications
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Masters in Economics, Statistics, Business Law, or Development Studies from reputed local or foreign university, with CGPA 3.0 and above or equivalent.
University degree in Economics/statistics is desired
